Meet The Owner:
Meet Danica Bell of Tiny Feet Ventures located in Gold Coast, QLDTell Us A Little Something About Yourself
I’m a Mumma of 3 living on the Gold Coast. As a family we love travelling, adventure and fun. What Inspired You To Start Your Own Business?
When I was pregnant with my third child I was home with 2 toddlers. In this time we did a lot of free play and activities. I was inspired to create home activities for other families to use while at home, travelling, needing gift ideas and homeschool. I always wanted to keep our products durable and affordable. What Does Your Business Offer, And What Makes It Unique?
We offer themed busy boxes that are packed full of educational resources that can be used just about anywhere. We have tried to keep our products local by using Australian suppliers. What Does Your Journey Look Like?
Our journey has only just begun. Our store opened June 2020 in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic and the instagram community has been so inspiring and supportive. We have a long road ahead of us and can’t wait to see what the journey will look like in the next year or 10.Did You Always Think You'd Be Doing This?
I actually always dreamed of being a school teacher. I attempted this journey twice and both times had babies. After having my babies and being a full time stay at home mum I then realised how quickly bored toddlers become. Creating this business was always my purpose to make fun boxes that are educational and resourceful for other families. What Are The Most Rewarding And Challenging Parts Of Your Job And Owning Your Own Business?
The most rewarding part of my job so far is the beautiful feedback and pictures from our customers. To have feedback that their child finds it hard to concentrate but sat down all afternoon with our products puts the biggest smile on our faces! The most challenging is making sure I’m being accountable for my time but we are working on that! 😊Whats Your End Goal? The Moment You'll Know You've Achieved What You Want To?
I would love to have a little store. A place for families to come and be together, the children can play, with awesome music, coffee and food!
